SEO Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2 June 2026
These SEO Terms & Conditions explain the search-engine optimisation (SEO) work included with a rohcode build, and what we can and cannot promise. They form part of our Client Services Agreement.
1. SEO is included in your build
Search-engine optimisation set-up is included as part of the standard rohcode build — it is not a separate add-on or a tiered product. Every site we build is prepared so that search engines can find, read, and index it properly.
2. What's included
As part of your build, we set up the technical foundations of good SEO, which typically include:
- page titles, meta descriptions, and heading structure for the content you provide;
- clean, semantic, mobile-friendly markup;
- a sitemap and robots configuration so search engines can crawl your site;
- structured data where appropriate to help search engines understand your content;
- fast loading and modern hosting, which search engines favour.
We optimise around the content and information you provide. The quality and relevance of that content is a major factor in how a site performs.
3. What we cannot guarantee
SEO set-up is configuration work — it is not a promise of results. We do not guarantee any particular search ranking, position, amount of traffic, number of leads, or revenue. Search engines such as Google are independent third parties; they control their own ranking algorithms, change them frequently and without notice, and we have no control over them. Anyone who guarantees you a specific ranking is not being straight with you.
4. Things outside our control
Your results can be affected by factors we do not control, including search-engine algorithm changes, the actions of competitors, the age and history of your domain, your own content and marketing activity, and any changes you or others make to your site after launch. We are not responsible for changes in rankings or traffic arising from these factors.
5. Ongoing SEO work
The build includes SEO set-up. Ongoing SEO — such as continuing content work, keyword campaigns, link strategy, or regular performance reporting — is a separate service, scoped and quoted separately if you want it.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Nothing in them affects the statutory rights of a consumer.
