Acceptable Use

Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 2 June 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what may and may not be published on, or done with, a website that rohcode builds and hosts for you. It forms part of our Client Services Agreement, and applies to you and to anyone who uses your website or account.

1. Your responsibility for content

You are responsible for all content published on your website and for ensuring you have the right to use it. You must comply with all applicable laws, including Irish and EU law.

2. Prohibited content

You must not use a rohcode-hosted website to publish, host, or distribute content that:

  • is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
  • infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
  • is, or relates to, child sexual abuse material (we operate a zero-tolerance position and will report such material to the authorities);
  • is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or incites hatred or violence against any person or group;
  • is fraudulent, deceptive, or designed to mislead (including scams and phishing);
  • contains malware, viruses, or harmful code;
  • promotes self-harm, or makes dangerous or false medical, health, or financial claims;
  • is obscene or pornographic, or otherwise unlawful adult content.

3. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other accounts, or other websites we host;
  • interfere with, overload, or disrupt our infrastructure or the operation of other sites;
  • use the service to send spam or unsolicited bulk communications;
  • resell or sublicense the hosting or service without our written agreement;
  • use the service in a way that places an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure.

4. Consequences of breach

If your website or use of the service breaches this policy, we may remove the offending content, suspend your website, or end the service. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will give you notice and an opportunity to put things right first. For serious breaches — in particular illegal content — we may suspend your website immediately and without prior notice, and report the matter to the relevant authorities.

5. Reporting

If you become aware of content or activity on a rohcode-hosted site that breaches this policy, please contact us at ryan@rohcode.com.

6. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date shows when it last changed.
